Terms and Conditions for Coppice Drive

Welcome to Coppice Drive. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our luxury BMW car rental services, including short-term leases, long-term leases, corporate rental solutions, and airport pickup and drop-off services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

1. Definitions

• "Service" refers to the car rental and related offerings provided by Coppice Drive.
• "Customer," "You," or "Your" refers to the individual or entity booking or using the Service.
• "Coppice Drive," "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to Coppice Drive, a luxury car rental company.
• "Vehicle" refers to any BMW car rented through our Service.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility for Rental

• Customers must be at least 25 years of age.
• A valid, full driving license held for a minimum of 2 years is required. International driving permits may be required for non-EU license holders, along with their national license.
• A valid credit card in the main driver's name is required for payment and security deposit.
• All drivers must be present at the time of vehicle collection and provide necessary documentation.

3. Booking and Reservations

• Bookings can be made through our online platform or by contacting our team.
• All reservations are subject to vehicle availability.
• A confirmation email will be sent upon successful booking, detailing the rental period, vehicle type, and cost.
• Changes to reservations are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Rental Period

• The minimum rental period is 24 hours.
• Late returns may be subject to additional hourly or daily charges, as specified in your rental agreement.
• Requests for extensions must be made in advance and are subject to availability and additional payment.

5. Pick-up and Drop-off

• Vehicles can be collected from our Dublin location or delivered via our airport pickup and drop-off service (additional charges may apply).
• Upon collection, the vehicle will be inspected, and any existing damage will be noted. You are responsible for verifying the vehicle's condition at pick-up.
• Vehicles must be returned to the agreed location at the specified date and time, in the same condition as received, allowing for fair wear and tear.
• A final inspection will be conducted upon return. Any new damage will be assessed and charged accordingly.

6. Pricing and Payment

• Rental rates include standard insurance but may exclude specific fees such as fuel, tolls, fines, and additional services.
• All payments must be made in full before the rental period commences.
• A security deposit is required and will be pre-authorised on your credit card. This deposit covers potential excess mileage charges, fuel discrepancies, damages, and other incidentals. It will be released upon satisfactory return of the vehicle.
• Additional charges may apply for optional extras, out-of-hours service, or one-way rentals.

7. Insurance and Liability

• Our vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance, subject to an excess amount.
• The Customer is liable for any damage to the vehicle up to the insurance excess amount, even if a third party is at fault.
• Additional insurance options to reduce or waive the excess may be available at an extra cost.
• The insurance policy does not cover personal belongings or items stolen from the vehicle.
• In the event of an accident, you must notify Coppice Drive immediately and follow our incident reporting procedures.

8. Vehicle Use Restrictions

• The vehicle must only be driven by registered and approved drivers listed on the rental agreement.
• The vehicle must not be used for racing, towing, off-road driving, or any illegal activities.
• Smoking is prohibited in all our vehicles. A cleaning fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
• The vehicle must not be taken outside the Republic of Ireland without prior written consent from Coppice Drive.
• Customers are responsible for all traffic violations, fines, parking tickets, and tolls incurred during the rental period. An administration fee may apply for processing these.

9. Fuel Policy

Vehicles are typically provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Failure to return the vehicle with a full tank will result in fuel charges based on current pump prices plus an administration fee.

10. Maintenance and Breakdowns

All vehicles are regularly maintained to the highest standards. In the unlikely event of a breakdown or mechanical issue, please contact our 24/7 roadside assistance as provided in your rental agreement. Unauthorised repairs will not be reimbursed.

11. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms vary depending on the booking type (short-term, long-term, corporate). Specific cancellation details will be provided at the time of booking confirmation. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

12. Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website. We use your data for booking, service provision, and legal compliance.

13. Amendments to Terms

Coppice Drive reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland.
